Do not take yourself too seriously in life. I see people putting on a mask to push what they want without having to expose who they are. I am glad to be doing my own things because I can decide what I want and what I do not want. Be honest and be truthful in what you want, and you will do ok. When you notice things not going a certain way you want to change things up. Changing things up is good when things are not working for you. Going a different route might work and will be a good test for your problem-solving skills. Handling adversity is tough, but it can pay to be creative at times. You can notice things others may miss or think about things in ways others cannot see. Have you ever thought to yourself why am I able to understand something easily and see someone struggle or vice versa? We all have our different strengths, and some things will be easy for us and other things will be more difficult. This can be why couples that have a good balance of strengths might end up being more successful. You have good listening skills, and your wife is good at communicating. What is important is how you react to things in life that makes the difference. Acting like a child as an adult may not end well but acting professionally with understanding may lead to a reward for you personally. Go with class to get the cash! Being able to recognize the good things in yourself are important and good for the soul. I like the times in life where you are excited about something, and you want to be able to work on it when you get a free moment. Life can be like the season sometimes: winter where everything you encounter feels cold. Spring where relationships can start to take off. Having empathy for others should not be reacted to it negatively, even though I see sometimes it does. Being selfish and looking after yourself and making sure you support yourself is fine. Trying to understand what others are going through and listening to them to make them feel better is also ok. One is not better than the other and both are acceptable to use. Why not take a balanced approach and use a combination of both. Remember that how you feel about something matters. You will always have your version of how things went down that people cannot take away from you. They can try to deny your view, ignore it, but how you felt when things happened matters. It sounds like a tornado outside with the wind howling and its early March. You cannot predict the weather and no matter what you think you cannot predict people. You can try but you will not be able to predict everyone. Everyone is different and the same and we are all constantly changing. Please make sure to do something good for yourself and take a minute to understand what you want. Is your approach working?
