The lessons we learn make us better people and once we learn something we can never try to go back. There is no going back in life no matter how much we WANT this but there is always moving forward. We move on and take what we learned and try to save it for a rainy day in the future. You never know when you may need to lean on some previous knowledge to be able to help you out. The journey is always what is most important. We look at the people that we met along the way and the experiences they brought us that took us to this point. We must always be grateful to be where we at today because life will happen for you and to you. When you believe you are worth it and put in the work anything can be possible. You do not have to be the brightest or the prettiest person. But, you do have to be able to know what you want, know what you must give and find ways to make this happen. Why do you want to be proud of yourself? Why are you proud of yourself? Bring the good things that you feel you have and share them with as many people as you know. You should never hide what makes you feel good about yourself and the good you can bring others. When you have a passion for something you must show it. You have a duty to yourself to do what you love. The ultimate form of self-care to me is to be able to live in the day-to-day what you are passionate about. For me right now writing gives me hope and something I can share with others. People will hide the stuff the love because of how the world will treat them when everyone finds out what they like to do. You need to be brave and put YOUR HOPES above the worlds hopes. When you can do that and live with what you want to do then the world can work out in your favor. You are not hiding yourself or pretending to be something that you are not. We need to be living a life doing something that we love, which should be meaningful. You can argue and say I did this and this and nothing happened, and you are full of crap. I know what I believe about myself and what I must give the world. I am comfortable with whatever someone else does. Being able to know that you are worth it, putting yourself first no matter what others think, and not hiding your self are very tough things for people to do. No matter what anyone else would say, I would think that a person that was able to do all of this would be brave and a success in this world. It all depends on how you look at things and how brave you are willing to be. Life can seem like it wants to hurt you, but it is there to help you.
