Valuable When You Choose to Be

What is a key to surviving in life? Being able to deal with the curveball’s life throws at you. Being able to continue in your life when you feel like giving up. Life can feel like the ultimate job, but it can provide you the ultimate reward. What do most people want: money, power, success, fame. The issue is people are stuck trying to figure out how they can be the person that has everything they want. There is a problem that comes up to me when someone goes down this line of thinking. I do not personally believe humans can ever actually have everything we want. I think that once we have the thing, we want we move on to the next need that we have. The needs will never run out to me. We need to be able to live happily understanding that we will never get everything that we want. What can we do to calm down this thirst for more? We can enjoy WHAT WE HAVE. When we appreciate the things that we have we can accept the things that we don’t have. I have a pet and feel grateful having someone to keep company. I feel lucky to have the things that I do, because I know there are people out there worse off. If I am feeling upbeat, excited, I want to share it with people. If we do not have people to share this with, then we must share it with ourselves. Make the most important person in our life (us) understand what we are going through. What do you feel is keeping you back in life? If you are not happy where you are, what would solve the issue? In a way, you are the genie to your wishes. You can choose to make them appear or they can also never exist. Do we have to work hard to get the things that we want? The answer is it depends. Working hard and fighting through resistance can turn you into a bulldozer of a human being. You are more successful at solving problems, you are not scared of things that may scare others, every time you accomplish a task that means something to you your confidence goes up. If you are handed everything, you can still be rich, have millions of friends, be popular. You my also have a issues facing problems that come up in your life. The drawback to working hard is when you get to the top, you may be completely burnt out from dealing with issues all the time. This tells me no matter what everyone has their strengths and their weaknesses. The question we need to ask is not necessarily how do we turn our weakness into a strength? It could be how do we accept the weaknesses we have in each of us and still know that we are valuable people. Wash the insecurity off your back. Wash it daily and understand I do not need to fight you to get what I want and for you to get what you want. I am valuable, because I choose to be and anyone can be valuable if they choose to be.
