Trying to Make the Best of Things

Its hard to not give into temptation daily. We get tempting options each day in our lives, but not all these options are good for us. We must decide to do what is right for us even when we feel the offer is good. This is because we understand ourselves greater than the love of any reward. I keep searching and searching for things but am at a loss. I know I need to get out of my current situation because it is not good for myself. Working to improve yourself and your situation is most important when you are changing things. Everything will be ok, but change is always scary and always will be scary. Its just an unknown and unknown is ok. I think that when you have respect and appreciation for the things around you, you will feel better about yourself. When you stumble it is important to catch yourself and make sure you do not continue to stumble. I have seen people lose control and then you can end up losing yourself. I have been thinking recently and to me at least we really do have a quick life. You look up and it can be near the end. We tend to focus from one thing to another to get through the maze of life. It never stops but only really slows down if you can retire. We also can plan out our next twenty years only to have plans change in the next 24 hours. Life can be very humbling in these little ways. That is why it is important not to take things too seriously. Isn’t life serious enough without you have turn everything up a notch? It is always good to make decisions and be a decider. When given options even if you are wrong it is a good skill to choose the best one. If you are wrong, you can just add that as a lesson. When we get impatient, I can sense and see the anger happening around me. We only have a certain amount of time before we will go off. Once we go off, anything is on the table. Control emotions and controlling our impatience are some valuable skills I think to have. This can make you value your time and not overreact when something negatively happens to you. Remember it is ok to be sad and angry. We are human beings, and we will have our good days and our bad days. The bad part is when you have too much of something or let your mind get the best of you. Please choose your battles wisely. Arguing whether the sky is blue or yellow is not a critical issue. Our brains are supercomputer sponges that can absorb anything and everything. There is no limit to me on what we can store and do. Things are rapidly changing but the same things continue to happen. We have the same issues that happened fifty years ago: inflation. As much as everything has changed the issues we face are still there. It is always important to stay informed.
