Power is My New Drug

What do you want from the world right now? What will it take for you to get it? Sometimes we must weigh the pros and cons of things that we want. What we want and what it will take for us to get it can sometimes be too much. Everyone has that imaginary line where they decide what is good and what is bad. It is different for each people, and some may not even have a line and go wherever they want and please. Where that line is for you could help determine in my mind the decisions you might make. If you must sell yourself to the devil, was it worth the extra $$$? Life will happen for you, but you can play a big part in how it will happen. When you are struggling with something you first must decide how you want to beat it. Then you need to figure out the support you will have. Will there be others around you or will you be on your own? Either way every person has the tools to be able to survive alone. It is easier, healthier, and better to be around others to share in the things you are going through. If you feel you cannot, then you can be your own support. It all begins and ends with the way you choose to look at things. Yes, everything can be going wrong in your life, you could be horrible, a loser, but is that really what you want to do and say about yourself? It is better to say I am doing XYZ right and am doing my best. You want to make sure to have something look up to and not have something looking down on you. Positivity wins and every person can use it. You can choose to act whatever route you want but positivity wins. When you let it take over and make the decisions you truly you want to make you will be happy with yourself. Eliminate the need to talk down about you, your life, your loved ones, what is happening, etc. Cut that down and focus more on the ways you are happy with yourself and what would make you even happier. Lead by doing and thinking about things in that way and you should feel good no matter what happens. Yes, I did not get the promotion I worked hard for, but I was able to learn valuable skills that will help me long-term. I mentioned the promotion, but I focused on a positive. That thinking can open doors for you and your life if you let it. I had to sacrifice my ego to be able to do this and that is still a challenging thing to do. You must be able to handle anything in any given situation, which we are all built to do. The thoughts we have are powerful. The actions we have are powerful. People say they feel powerless but all I can see is please take back your power. You have it with you, but you may have just forgotten it exists.
