New Year Brings A Good Attitude

It is a brand-new year, and anything is possible. Anything can be possible though any day. Everyone will have their new goals and try to get off to a strong start. I am still trying to figure things out, as I continue to learn about life. It is time to enjoy the ride and see where things go. I have always felt that I stand out, but it is better as an adult. However, I am more accepting of it then I was younger. I would walk on eggshells at times to make sure things were in order but that never worked out. Everyone now has something on their plate of things to do, so it becomes easier to be the person you want. I am unattached, so that can make things easier. When we have people to support, we must consider them in all the decisions that we make. I have the luxury of having to only take care of myself, so that can make things easier for me. Doing the weird thing means being able to handle the criticism and people trying to put you on the defensive for the choices you have made. That is why it is better for each of us to know and understand things about ourselves. We really can do the best things for each of us if we listen to what we want and need. Then we can think about what we need, and, in a way, we have a priority list made. What is something you really want right now? I would like to have peace of mind, and I am lucky I am able to provide that to myself. Going to work and being out in the world all day can be fun, and it can be awful. For me, it means having a lot of noise going on for an extended period. When the days work is over, I just want to be at peace with my day and be able to relax the rest of the night. A good night for me is when my brain has shut off. I can binge a useless but fun activity. This is one of the reasons I want to write this because I know it feels peaceful and good to post. This does not feel stressful or like an extended amount of time. It is being able to reflect, accept, help, motivate yourself and the people around you of what you are and what you can be. Being able to have a clear focus and new excitement for life has improved my mood. There are a million things out there that can stress anybody out but there are also a million good things we can be doing to give ourselves a good rewarding life. If you are having a tough time with these things or it feels like things are piling up just take a deep breath. Spend your time planning on how to make things better and to making sure you are treating yourself right. Make sure you know you are good enough and if you want to make a change do it!
