Heading into the Unkown is Scary

It can be nice when people compliment and say pleasant things about you. It can fill you up and make you feel good. There is a much better feeling, though. When you can provide your own validation for yourself. When you can hear yourself saying “I am awesome!”. It can also be good when you have failed to know inside and out that you did your best. The best gratification you can ever receive is from yourself. There are people that will go their entire lives, and not understanding the good inside of them. The good needs to unlock like a key unlocks the door. In some you will spot and see the good, but in others it can be hard, and you will have to dig to see it. The best things in life are worth waiting for, but being impulsive can be exciting too. When you feel like you may stick out in life, that is because you will end up making a difference to someone. At early ages, it can feel like what makes us different can be a negative and something to scold at. When you can reflect it as you go through life to me like what makes you different is your strength. It can become your strength, because the differences are something no one else has and nobody can take it away from you. They can try their best to make it their own, but nobody can stop what is your uniqueness from showing. That is where you can dig for your power, if you are ever looking for some. What makes you different is your superpower! Those are the things we need to use to make a difference and that difference inside you can be what makes you happy as well. Bringing acceptance to yourself has so many benefits and will make your life much better. Why is it we get scared and shield ourselves from the differences we have? Not everyone is ready to have the microscope of life on what makes them unique. We must respect that but understand that it is good to bring your differences into your life. Embrace what makes you feel outside of others. When we bring that to the surface and understand that the differences are not there to hurt us, but they are there because they are a part of us no one else has. It is scary when something goes wrong, or we face adversity in our lives. It can be scarier and hurtful to us to not show the dark parts. What I am getting to try to understand about my life is to being able to accept everything about myself. I have fought and fought not to have to face certain things about myself, but eventually everything will always come to the surface. We should not be trying to hide things to avoid the pain, because eventually we will have to be brave and face it. Embrace your uniqueness and differences and do not try to hide the pain from them. Accept everything, keep the smiling on your face, and understand the power we all have!
