Working Hard Is for Suckers

Be proud of the small that you do in life and never underestimate yourself or put yourself into a box. You are your own box, so do with it what you must. Remember if you were strong during a tough moment take measure in that. If you felt weak but were still able to show up for yourself, take count of that. “I am proud of myself and the way I handled that difficult situation.” Think that you may have wanted to give up, but you refused because that is not who you are. The wind was whipping at me today, but it made no difference because I was focused in on the good stuff and trying to make sure, I keep it together. Did I succeed? Yes, I did. That feeling when you can either topple over or stand your ground and you realize you were able to stand your ground and remain free. There is always a battle going on for me if I am doing enough. I am doing enough and can relax, which is the good part. The tough part is when things are not working, and you feel you must dig in harder. It feels like a car getting stuck in the mud. Where you are continually trying to get the wheels unstuck and you feel you must work even harder to get unstuck. That can happen in our lives. Sometimes the easiest way is the one that opens the door and sometimes the day stays stuck for a bit longer. You must work with yourself and never go against yourself. We have the tools that we need to succeed, but do we know how to use them? That is a question that ends up answered depending on the person. The good part is that we can continue to make things better for ourselves. I have always been someone that has never stopped going when I wanted something. You can get derailed, sidetracked, etc. but then suddenly, the train is moving again. That is because if it is important to finish or accomplish something then I must put all my effort into it. I heard something about people saying that hard work does not pay off anymore. That is fine and go ahead and believe that. I think that can be a limiting belief honestly to keep you stuck. It makes you a victim in a way to me because you do not need to work hard, you were not going anywhere anyway. It is a shame because I like to think of myself as a detective and everybody has something powerful within them. They think nobody can see it, but I do. They think they may feel headed nowhere, but that is never the true answer. You can lead yourself wherever you want to go. You have gifts that are remarkable to this world and would blow people away. You have untapped power that could lead to remarkable changes, ideas, an entire shift in the way you view the world. Or you can think I do not have anything of value and I do not need to work hard.
