Are you feeling hopeless, dejected, exhausted, frustrated, down to your last straw? How are you managing these things? Do any of these ideas bring another one fear in? We can have so many things going on at one given time and then need to expect to restrain ourselves or hold it together when we are falling apart. That can get to be too much, too much thinking, going to the worst idea possible, feeling the world coming after you and not you are going after the world. Think about that for a minute. The spiral that asks you to be patient, but do not lean into it or give it more room to grow. The paralyzing doubt that everyone is going to find you out and your secret exposed. These are just a few of the ways our brain can play tricks on us and make us think that we are going down. The truth is you could just be breaking even or doing slightly better even facing these things. When you can handle the different environments thrown at you it scares the living hell out of you for experiencing a variety of things you did not ask for. Then when you are facing it constantly and have nowhere else to turn, you can only embrace it. You only have so much energy, so you give in and understand what you are dealing with. The thing is you continue to keep going and then realize “why did I keep going if I feel I am experiencing all of this stuff”? Then the lightbulb comes on and you also realize you have been doing well even with these things in the background. It was even feeling picked up by others you were doing better, but you did not know why. You just keep thinking about the stuff you are going through and how you can make it through another day. By the end you know how strong you are to overcome the stuff thrown at you. Even when you felt the fear try to cripple you, you came through for yourself and are doing better now. Should you take it out on yourself that you are not happy that you are at the top? Should you be proud of the journey and how far you had to come to get to today. Understanding that life is difficult, but you are difficult to stop. When you see the energy, the knowledge, the experience put into action for yourself and then you can see actual results from it how can you be mad? You need to celebrate and appreciate what life is giving you then. You think about the terrible stuff you faced, but you know you want a chance at showing what you can do and how far you can go. Perseverance, patience are not things that are for soft people or happen to people that are weak. These are the qualities and beginnings of the way you can turn yourself into a champion. Turn it around on the thing sending it to you and remembering who you are can get you through tough obstacles.
