Dealing With the Games We Play

The weeks feel longer and longer, but the year is going by faster. The world is trying to pull its tricks again, but I am ready for you this time. You can try to fool me and try to throw something wild, but I am here to stay. Things can move from zero to a hundred like that and you will be going but where did the time go? It can also move slower than anything you have witnessed making you wish it would do anything to speed up. It all depends on what you are doing and what you are trying to achieve. Usually when we dread something time will make it last forever and maybe that is to make us sit with it. It is because we need to show patience with whatever we are doing. When we are enjoying something, doing something that we love, time becomes no issue. It flies by and you want to hold on to every second of it before it is gone. These feelings and thoughts are natural and another part of life. We think that things are complicated for us at times, but are they? What is so complicating that it is making you lose focus of the whole picture? I think that we can make things but complicated, but I do not know if some of these times it is simple. Watch something that makes you laugh and try to feel sad after that. It will be hard to do. When I am sad, I go to my most uplifting moments I can think of. My anxiety has slowed as I understand and take the focus off how everyone else is feeling and put it back on how am I doing with what is going on? Feeling guilty can hold us back from things that we love and good feelings we wish to have. Removing it is key and again forgiving yourself if you have not done anything for any guilt. Guilt has felt to me like a bubble that can get bigger and pop at any moment if you do not keep it under control. Guilt, fear, shame, embarrassment to me can be some of the real detractors in life. These things paralyze us and can even make us lose ourselves. We can deal with them, but you must have a strong mental presence to be able to defeat them. They like to talk and run a big game. Everyone can have them at times and being able to deal with them can be an asset for yourself. Fear puts that restraint on us that we just do not need. You are all ready and prepared to do something and then you hear the voice in the back of your head go “but….” You think that you never realized what the voice is talking about and that it is right. Yes, it is wrong and playing games with us at our own expense. You can be an extrovert or an introvert and still have issues with these things. Hopefully, we make the right choices and preserve past them.
