Being alone with your thoughts can be a wonderful thing. You can think of anything, and you can make yourself happy with your thoughts. Sometimes people get scared of their thoughts because they may think of sad things. Its ok to think about dreadful things but try to make sure you are equaling taking in positive ones. If you are scared that your brain may fear something bad you can counter, with two good things. I always like to think because thinking can make anything seem possible. Thinking can help relax our body and mind. When in doubt you can remember Happy Gilmore “think of your own happy place.” We can face internal battles from time to time and that can be rough. It is always a clever idea to make sure your mental and physical health are good. Our inner world will show in the outer world. I can get scared of taking risks, but taking risks is important in life. It helps you show faith in yourself, you can get bigger rewards, you get to be outside of your comfort zone. These things are all positive. The downside is that yes, we could fail. Fearing failure is never a recipe for success. We must douse the fear with strength and remember that just because you failed does not mean you failed. I know that it may not make sense. Yes, you did fail, but did you learn something from the failure? Are you wiser after failing? If you knew you would fail at this, would you have tried it? There are questions to ask when we have failed. There are questions to ask when we succeed. How were you able to succeed? What obstacles were you able to overcome? What is the best part of being successful? Failing and succeeding are not things we should fear. There is no point in fearing what must eventually happen. We will fail or we will succeed. We should be using these words as tools to help us grow and become better. When we fail, we can end up better. When we succeed, we can end up better. People that need to be worried about this is when failing and succeeding can mean life or death. What do I want to learn today? I want to learn how I can stay calm, relaxed, when things can tense in life. How do we stay under pressure and make sure we are ok. We make sure we take care of ourselves; we understand that everyone has an agenda. If something goes wrong, we need to stay relaxed and not react. Fighting the instinct to react has been one of the most difficult challenges I have faced. When you have had an instinct to react, react, react, you must shut that down. The reaction happens very quickly, so mastering that instinct will show restraint. Remember that knowledge is a benefit to you and can help you achieve your goals. When we understand ourselves, we can have an even better life. People do not like to see the terrible things inside them, but it can be healthy and important to reflect on them.
